Locks of Love donation

So my hair was fiiiiinally long enough to donate. I've been so tired of finding long hair everywhere, my hair being to heavy to put in simple bun, and my hair getting caught on things that I've been measuring my hair every couple of days for a while now waiting for it to be long enough to donate. I cut about 12 inches off but because my hair was layered the shorter layers were closer to 9 inches. I just went to Hair Cuttery and they send the hair to Locks of Love for you where they use it to make wigs for children that suffer from hair loss because of medical conditions. I told they stylist she could do whatever she wanted and she layered it a lot in the back and put in highlights. I'm still getting used to the shorter hair cut and I'm thinking about making the highlights purple.
